Songwriting is a source of inspiration for hopeful producers. Niykee constantly listens to beats and finds many that spark ideas. It's easy to tell when a beat's good after the first five seconds, and I'll be able to get a tune in my mind and begin creating right away, she adds. I sit on my back porch with my guitar and lyrics just come and usually it's finished in just 30 minutes. Niykee's memories of pain provide endless sources of ideas. It's tough to forget the painful memories of my childhood, and especially the loss of my sister. The memories end up getting included in her songs. The resulting music is shaped by my experiences and gives it a deeper significance, something I consider extremely important. I'd like to be able listen to my music in the next 20 years and still feel proud about what I have to say.
