thomas sadoski-2Sadoski started his award-winning stage career by playing the understudy of Mark Ruffalo and Mark Rosenthal in the Off Broadway production of Kenneth Lonergan's critically reviewed production This is Our Youth at the Second Stage Theatre. It was the first of many productions with the company based in New York. He has performed in many Off-Broadway and Broadway productions. He has also been in several productions in regional theaters. Together with Alison Pill, he played the role of Greg in Neil LaBute's 2008 play Reasons to be Pretty at the MCC Theatre. After a sell-out Off-Broadway production, it was transferred to Broadway in April 2009. It earned three Tony Award nominations, including Best actor and Best actress: Marin Ireland, and three Drama Desk Award nominations for Best actor and Best Director: Terry Kinney. Six. Neil LaBute credited Sadoski with the change in tone in The Reasons to Be Pretty, which was a departure in comparison to earlier works. He wrote: "His thoughtfulness and good heart allowed him not to go back to something that I've previously performed." My plays usually end darkly.
